Privacy
Solari keeps as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in and to recover your account.
- Your first and last name, and your chosen username.
- Your date of birth, used once to confirm you are at least 13.
- Your avatar letter and color swatch.
- Your pairing code, generated automatically when you sign up.
- Your list of paired friends and the date each pairing was made.
- Unread messages waiting on your board. Once you read a message, it is deleted from our database.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to run Solari: to sign you in, to show your board, and to deliver messages between paired friends. We do not use it for any other purpose.
How it is stored
Solari runs on Supabase, which hosts our database and handles sign-in on our behalf as a data processor. Your information lives on their infrastructure. Your password is hashed and is never visible to us.
What we don't do
- We don't run ads.
- We don't use third-party analytics or trackers.
- We don't sell or share your data or your messages.
- We don't keep your messages after you read them.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Messages are deleted the moment you read them. When you delete your account, your profile, pairings, and any pending messages are removed.
Your choices
You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account unpairs all friends and removes your profile.
Children
Solari is not directed at children under 13. We ask for your date of birth at signup and block anyone under 13 from creating an account. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date below. If you have any questions about your privacy, email us at [email protected].
