Terms
These are the terms for using Solari, written plainly and meant to be read. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Using Solari Kindly
Solari is for sending messages to people who have agreed to pair with you. Please use it kindly. The pairing system is not a channel for harassment, threats, or abuse. If you receive a pairing you would rather not have, you can decline it, and if someone keeps reaching out after that, you can mute, unpair, or block them on your Friends page.
Spam and Abuse
We want Solari to feel safe and small. If we receive a credible report that someone is spamming or harassing another person, we may suspend or close that account, and a single trustworthy report can be enough for us to act.
What Belongs to Whom
Solari, including its name, its design, the flipboard interface, and the code behind it, belongs to us. Please do not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of it without our written permission. The messages you send remain yours, and you are responsible for them, so please do not send anything unlawful or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
A Small Project, Offered As Is
Solari is a small, independent project, and we are honest about that. It may occasionally break, go offline, or change as it grows. We will do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot promise perfect uptime, guaranteed delivery, or that any message will be preserved. Messages are meant to be fleeting; once read, they are gone.
Leaving, and Being Asked to Leave
You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Doing so unpairs every friend and removes your profile and messages, with no archive and no undo. We may also close accounts that break these terms. Either way, your departure is clean and complete.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms now and then as Solari evolves. If anything changes in a meaningful way, we will do our best to let you know, and continuing to use Solari after a change means you accept the updated terms.
